Early voting is now in full swing in Iowa.

Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia says more than 2700 ballots have been requested. He says the number is normal for a presidential election year, but still indicates a high level of interest in this year’s contest. Those receiving ballots should be cautious as they fill them out to be returned. Many ballots across the state have been missing a needed signature on the the outside of the envelope. Grandia says this has only happened with four of the ballots returned to his office, but he encourages absentee voters to read the instructions included with the material to ensure their vote is ready to be counted on Election Day.
