North Mahaska Schools have plenty of physical change going on this fall.
Superintendent Angela Livezey says they are in the process of remodeling portions of the high school wing of their building.
"We're excited to be renovating our campus, our building is over 50 years old in the high school," she says. "We have lots of updates going on."
A new science room and lab, cafeteria renovations, a remodel of the family consumer science room, as well as office and entrance upgrades.
And academically, Livezey says the district is making strides as well, with a curriculum dedicated to making K-12 students ready for college.
