Iowa Democratic Party Chair Dr. Andy McGuire attended a volunteer Phone Bank in Knoxville Wednesday Night.

McGuire tells KNIA/KRLS News the individual efforts of Marion County Democrats are important to success up and down the ticket. The Marion County Republicans are also active in the county this week. Candidates will meet and greet voters in Pella at 9 a.m. at Monarch’s Restaurant and in Knoxville at 11 a.m. at the Coffee Connection. Barbara Grassley will represent Senator Chuck Grassley (U.S. Senate) and Christopher Peters (2nd District U.S. House of Representative), Iowa Senator Amy Sinclair (District 14 State Senator), Iowa Representative Greg Heartsill (Iowa House District 28), Guy Vander Linden (Iowa House District 79), and Mark Raymie (Marion County Board of Supervisors) will attend in person.
