The Knoxville Township Rural Fire Department held its annual fundraising breakfast Saturday.

Chief Kenny Thompson says approximately $3000 was raised towards the purchase of new hoses to help keep the department up to insurance code. More than 250 people attended to support the department and for pancakes, sausage and eggs.
