After taking over at quarterback at the start of the season, results for Owen Worthington and the Pleasantville Football Team were a relative unknown.

The squad had graduated a large senior class, but they were also well into the tenure of Head Coach Gabe Bakker and the culture he was restoring to the program. Worthing throughout the season has delivered, maybe not blowing up the stat sheet, but facilitating an incredibly strong run game and more importantly, not turning the ball over. Until last week, Worthing had not thrown an interception all season.

A blunder last week against Central Decatur was quickly remedied, with Worthington immediately stepping up on defense and getting his team leading seventh interception and reclaiming the momentum for the Trojans. Coming up against Madrid, the Trojans will need to keep the ball away from the ball control Tigers, and Pleasantville will need the best from their junior signal caller.
