The Knoxville Optimist’s Club is holding a special Trick or Treating event today.

Treats in the Trunk will allow children to get candy and show off their costumes in a safe environment without going door to door. The event will be held in the city parking lot across from the public library. Treats in the Trunk will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m and will be staffed by Optimists, firefighters, police officers and other city employees. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio will be at the event making announcements and playing music.
