Three weeks ago, the Knoxville Basketball Squads walked off the floor at Davis County. That was the last time the Panthers played in a game. After the final two games before the break were knocked out due to weather, the Panthers get back to action again after three weeks of practices and scrimmages as Centerville comes to town for important South Central Conference games. For the girls, the Panthers are looking for improvement over the break. They also head into a part of the season there they have three games per week every week in the month of January. Coach Jim Uitermarkt says practice time will be vital to making his team better. The boys take on a Centerville team that is just behind the Panthers in the South Central Conference race. Knoxville is four-and-oh while Centerville is 4-1 with its only loss to Chariton, a team that Knoxville has already defeated. A win by the Panthers would put them a full two games in first place.
