The first boy’s basketball rankings of 2017 have the two Tulip City squads ranked highly in their respective classes.

Pella Christian is ranked second in class 2-A with a 5-1 record.

Pella High is ranked third in class 3-A, with an identical 5-1 mark.

Both teams are 2-1 in the Little Hawkeye Conference, a game back of league leading Dallas Center-Grimes.
