Senator Amy Sinclair has been speaking to constituents recently about a women’s health bill that recently passed through the state Senate.
The bill would require women to be notified of any dense breast tissue that is present following a mammogram report. Women with dense breast tissue have a slightly higher risk of developing breast cancer according to the American Cancer Society. Senator Sinclair tells KNIA/KRLS News she is pro-life and considers this bill a pro-life bill because it let’s women know about their health options and risks. The bill passed through the Senate unanimously and will now move forward to the state House of Representatives.
