A local farmer will be in Washington D.C. this week to share his perspective on antibiotic resistance.

Ethan Book, founder of Crooked Gap Farm in Knoxville, will be in Washington D.C. tomorrow and Wednesday. Ethan will be joining other advocates from across the country who are concerned about the growing threat of antibiotic resistance. Ethan will be meeting with policymakers to share his unique perspective and personal connection to the issue and urge continued support of government efforts essential to staving off a post-antibiotic era. Ethan will be joined by mothers, fathers, doctors and farmers as part of The Pew Charitable Trusts’ Supermoms Against Superbugs initiative who are working to save antibiotics.
