Students in the Pella area in need of a balanced meal can get one every weekday beginning Monday.

Second Reformed Church in Pella is giving free sack lunches to any child from noon to 12:30 at the Burbank Apartments near Pella High School on East 13th Street. Cyndi Boertje with Second Reformed Church says a wide variety of meals will be provided during that time through August 18th to help fight hunger in the community.

She says no questions are asked, and students can take meals home with them.

Second Reformed Church is looking for volunteers and donations to help support the program, and contact the church for more information on how to become involved.
