Scattered storms possible over the next 72 hours may produce some severe weather as they pass through the area.

The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a slight risk of severe weather this evening, an enhanced risk Friday, and a slight risk Saturday. The forecast calls for scattered development this evening, Friday evening, and Saturday evening.

A slight risk of storms means conditions are favorable for the development of short-lived, isolated intense storms. An enhanced risk means numerous severe thunderstorms are possible, that are more persistent and/or widespread.
