Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Board Member Mike Roberts has resigned from the chamber.
Roberts resignation comes after he had joined the board less than three months prior in April. With the resignation from Roberts the chamber of commerce has had a total of four board members resign in 2017 starting with former president Jacob Hughes and board member Ben Larmen in April. Board member Wes King resigned at the beginning of May. A chamber board member has also confirmed to KNIA/KRLS News that Jason Everly has accepted a spot on the board which still has two open vacancies to date. Acting chamber president Rick Kingery tells KNIA/KRLS News a board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday and he chose not to comment until consulting with the board.
