Pella Christian’s softball team opens the class 2-A regional tournament tonight at home against Danville.

The Eagles, who are ranked fourth in the final IGHSAU regular season poll, finished the regular season at 30-5 and received a first round bye in the regional.

Danville, who knocked off Mediapolis 7-2 in an opening round contest on Monday, is 10-13 on the season.

First pitch is at 7:00 tonight on Eagle Lane. Trevor Castle and Wynne Veenstra will have the play-by-play on 92.1 KRLS, beginning with pregame coverage at 6:30.
