Activities continue this week at Lake Red Rock.

On Friday, a park ranger will take participants on a look back at the construction of the Red Rock Dam. Visitors can learn more about the history of the reservoir at 9 p.m. Friday at the Whitebreast Amphitheatre. On Saturday, Ride with a Ranger will also bikers to take a guided ride with a park ranger near the North Overlook picnic area at 10 a.m.. A spider hike begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, when Spider Enthusiast Lloyd Crim leads a quest to find the arachnids creeping and crawling around the playscape. Let’s Go Paddling begins at 3 p.m. at Roberts Creek, and a Creatures of the Night Hike starts at 9 p.m. at Whitebreast Camp.

All activities are free of charge, and preregistration is not required.
