Construction for the 2017 Knoxville Street Improvements Project will begin soon.
City Manager Aaron Adams tells KNIA/KRLS News without any unforseen delays, construction should begin on Monday, September 11th and will start on Robinson Street east of Highway 14 continuing to Kent Street. Adams says the second phase of the project includes Jackson street east of Highway 14 as well as additional blocks of Robinson street which he says could see construction this year but more than likely will begin in the spring of 2018.
