With both teams picking up wins in their holiday tournaments, and both starting off 2018 on the right foot with wins over Luther, the Simpson College Men’s and Women’s basketball teams will try to extend their winning streaks against Loras this afternoon.

The Storm women picked up a huge upset victory over Luther on Wednesday with a huge fourth quarter outscoring the Norse 24-14. With the win, the Iowa Conference women’s race gets a little tighter, with the Storm and Luther now tied in second with #2 Wartburg undefeated in first.

On the Men’s side, a couple of close losses plague the Storm in the standings who sit a 2-2, but now have a chance to continue to move up in the conference against the 0-4 Norse.
