The Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance will continue work to expand the local population in the coming year.

PACE Alliance Executive Director Karen Eischen tells KNIA/KRLS News while they’ve had success in other long-term goals such as increasing housing, retail options, and tourism, the biggest need for all employers locally is a larger workforce. She says the population may grow after new housing is established at various developments approved by the Pella City Council over the past few months, but PACE is looking to attract more people to the area.
