The Pella City Council will consider amending the language of the ballot in the upcoming special election at their meeting this evening.
They will review a resolution adding language that includes the types of services involved in a potential community telecommunications utility. Residents can vote whether or not to allow the city to move ahead with the project May 1st.
A public hearing to consider bids for the North Water Tower Interior Painting Project, a resolution to appoint a new city attorney, and a special event permit request for Tulip Time are also on the agenda.
Following regular business, the council will discuss a proposed microbrewery zoning ordinance and a proposed sidewalk inspection project. The Pella City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
