A Knoxville man was sentenced to a 6 year suspended prison-term Thursday.

Kevin Sandrock, who was arrested on charges of domestic abuse assault-impeding breathing, harassment in the 1st degree, domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury, and violations of a no-contact order, reached a plea agreement with the Marion County Attorney’s Office to serve 5 years for impeding breathing and 2 years for harassment to be served concurrently, plus 1 year for domestic abuse causing bodily injury, with all fines for the offenses suspended. Sandrock is ultimately sentenced to three years of probation, the completion of the domestic abuse program, pay jail fees and restitution, and undergo a mental health evaluation. If at any time the probation is violated, the full prison sentence of 6 years will be enforced.
