There was no shortage of offense for the Pleasantville baseball and softball teams Monday night, as they combined to win 25-0 over East Union.

The softball team made quick work of the Eagles winning 12-0 in three innings. The Trojans led 3-0 after two frames and then busted out for nine runs in the third to put the game away. Andie Sowers and Bridgette McKinney did much of the damage each having two hits and three RBI. Abby DeJoode was efficient in the circle giving up just one hit and no walks in the three innings to get the win. Pleasantville won their third straight contest to move to 11-8.

The baseball team also had a nine run third inning to propel them to a 13-0 win in five innings. Devon Dursky pitched all five frames giving up just two hits and eight strikeouts. Grant Fouch led the team with three RBI and Owen Worthington added a pair of hits. The Trojans have won 12 of 13 games and improve to 12-3 on the season.

Both squads will get back on the diamond tonight traveling to Southeast Warren.
