The Knoxville Softball Squad for the second time this season gave Eddyville-Blakesburg everything it could handle but in the end the Rockets prevailed 3-0. Knoxville Coach Coy Hupfeld told KNIA/KRLS Sports his team had many opportunities to score but left nine runners on base. Reilly Finarty pitched a solid game going six innings allowing three runs on nine hits and three strikeouts. At the plate Emery Neer was 2/3 with a stolen base, and Maddy Findley had two hits in three appearances. Knoxville is now 7-8 and travel to Oskaloosa today for an invitational.
