The Knoxville Public Library is hosting a DIY for Adults with the project of rock painting on July 10th.
Stacy Stanton with the library tells KNIA/KRLS News that the rock painting can be a creative outlet to make a gift for someone or participate in the Kindness Rocks project, which encourages writing a positive message on a rock and leaving it for someone to find it. Stanton also says that sometimes we need to expand our arts and crafts projects to include adults because the kids really love it and it gets presented to them often, but for adults it’s hard to find something simple and affordable and that’s what the DIY for Adults is all about. All materials will be provided. The rock painting will run from 6 – 7:30pm at the library.
