The Indiana Township Fire Department is hosting their 7th annual car show fundraiser on September 8th.
The car show will feature prizes for the top placements, as well as live music, a raffle and silent auction, kids inflatables, and a dunk tank among other entertainment. Fire Chief Curt Lambirth tells KNIA/KRLS News the car show is a great way to draw in local and out of county visitors because it is something that a lot of people in the area are familiar with but it also creates a big draw because car clubs and friends of locals can all show up and have a good time, all while being big fundraiser for the department.
The event will run from 12-7pm at the Indiana Township Fire Station, with a free will hog roast dinner to wrap up the day. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio will be on location playing music, making announcements, and providing local information.
