Today we continue the countdown of the Top 10 moments of the 2017-2018 school year at Pella High School with number six.

Before Pella truly shrugged off the No. 2 from their places at state, for the third straight year, the Lady Dutch cross country team came home with silver.

Pella was led by a 9th place finish from Caroline McMartin, while Ashley Blommers and Chelsea Jorgensen finished in 15th and 16th place respectively.

The Lady Dutch will look to hunt down the program’s elusive first state cross country title this fall.
