Joel Allman is no stranger to Pleasantville athletics. The boys’ basketball and boys’ golf coach added one more coaching title to his resume this fall, as he took over the volleyball team.
Allman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he has been around the game for a while coaching middle school volleyball for four years including mentoring many of his current players. He said the team has been focused on ball control in practice in hopes to set up an aggressive offensive attack. The Trojans will have a formidable one-two punch offensively with Sam Entinger and Taylor Foley combining for over 200 kills last season. Allman takes over a Trojan squad that went 6-14 in 2017 and lost seven players to graduation.
Pleasantville opens the year tomorrow hosting Earlham.
