Athletes from Pella and Pella Christian are raising funds for their classmates with special needs.
The Dutch and Eagles are participating in the Knights of Columbus Campaign for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities this evening through Saturday. Proceeds from the event benefit the special education departments at Pella and Pella Christian, Christian Opportunity Center, and the Iowa Special Olympics.
Donations are being collected outside of the Pella Hy-Vee, Walmart, and Fareway stores. Additionally, Pella Christian athletes will be accepting donations prior to this Friday’s football game vs. Oskaloosa, which can be heard live on the KRLS2 stream.
