Several area schools begin their 2018/19 school year today.
Knoxville School Resource Officer Kyle Keller tells KNIA/KRLS News students should take the time and make it a habit to be aware of their surroundings and keep their head up and phone down. Whether you are traveling or even just in class, you need to pay attention to what you are doing, especially while going to and from school because that requires more attention and we don’t want accidents happening. Keller also said that if a student wants to report something they see in school but are uncomfortable directly approaching him, to talk to a teacher, administrator, or parent, and they can contact him.
