Final results have come in from several competitions at the Iowa State Fair, with local residents continuing to earn awards.
Steve Hatch of Knoxville took home first place in the class A division of the Men’s Championship of the Horseshoe Contest, first place in the Horseshoe Amateur Championship, and first place in the open singles class B division. Brian Brooks of Knoxville won both of the right and left hand categories of the Monster Arm Wrestling Competition in the heavy division, and Kelli Wilson of Prairie City won the women’s right hand light division championship.
