The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.
The board approved a transfer of funds from the Rural Services Fund to the Secondary Road Fund, approved a special event application for the RVTV Cy-Hawk Tailgate to use courthouse grounds, approved a waiver of separation distance for a manure structure, and opened up hay ground on county property for bid. The board also discussed bids to abate a public health nuisance in rural Knoxville, but ultimately decided to table the issue until the next meeting to receive more information on the bidding process and wait for supervisor Craig Again to be present.
