The Pleasantville offense has experienced its ups and downs on the gridiron in the first half of the 2018 campaign, but one constant has been the production at the running back position.
No back in Class 1A District 7 has as many touches as Cael Lester with 81 rushing attempts in the first four games of the year. The senior has really come on as of late, racking up over 100 yards on the ground in back-to-back games and four rushing touchdowns in that span. He is currently second in the district in rushing yards with 374 on the year. Cale Anthony has been a secondary back for Pleasantville with 30 carries for 147 yards and two scores.
The Trojans (1-3) hope to see the rushing total climb this Friday when they open up district play against Colfax-Mingo (3-1).
