The dance team from Pleasantville High School is going to a major competition this weekend.

The team will be at the University of Iowa Dance Championships, taking place on Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena; they will be joining a number of other teams from around the state.

The event starts with soloists; Taryn Brent, Payton Bumgardner, Paige Busick and Emma Padellford will compete as individuals. Payton takes the floor at approximately 10:45 am, Emma at 11:48 am, Taryn at 12:15 pm and Paige at 12:40 pm.

Then the team will take the stage for two events later in the day; they’ll do a novelty routine at 3:30, and perform with poms at 4:20.
