Indianola Hometown Pride is hosting their second annual Organization Summit, attempting to bring together the leaders of Indianola’s 70+ service organizations and share current projects.
Board Chair of Indianola Hometown Pride Emmett Conrad tells KNIA News this event grew from a lot of different groups all trying to accomplish the same tasks.
“We sat down at our first meeting and tried to think of things that need to happen to better Indianola. We came up with a bunch of different things, but everytime we thought of something another organization was already doing it or planning on doing it. So we thought instead of all these different service organizations all working separately, how do we get them all working together and that is what this organization summit is.”
The Organization Summit will take place at The Groggy Dog on the downtown Indianola square, on January 30th from 5:30 to 6:30pm.
