The PCM boys’ basketball team got a hard fought non-conference win against a 13-win South Hardin team on Saturday coming out on top 50-44.
The Mustangs trailed 15-11 at the end of one but a big second quarter outscoring the Tigers 15-8 was the turning point. After a 26-23 lead at half the Mustangs held serve in the final 16 minutes to pick up the win. With star big man Andrew Van Ryswyk sitting most of the game due to foul trouble, the Mustangs had multiple players pick up the slack. Reed Worth led the team with 14 points and Isaac Telfer had 13.
PCM improves to 12-7 and close out the regular season today hosting Gilbert.
