Widespread snowfall is expected to continue through the afternoon after we’ve already received 3-5 inches of snow across South Central Iowa.

According to the National Weather Service, total accumulations for the entire storm will wind up between 4-6 inches, with more possible depending on the track of the heaviest bands of snow.

Snow ordinances are in effect for both the Cities of Knoxville and Pella, meaning cars need to be off of city streets until the all clear is given.
