Pella boys golfers achieved a season goal Tuesday by placing all 6 players in the 70’s during an 18 hole meet, winning the Knoxville Invitational by shooting 305. Luke Galeazzi led the way with a team low 74, followed by Trey Wood’s 76, Ethan Gordon’s 77, and Colin Henry’s round of 78. Gordon’s and Henry’s scores were career lows. John Oltman and Will Simpson each shot 79, but those scores didn’t count in the final team standings. This tournament marks the 3rd straight Invite Championship for the Dutch, winning the Moravia and Grinnell tournaments. The Dutch are 53-2 on the year and play next on Monday at the Little Hawkeye Conference tournament in Indianola.
