The Knoxville Softball Squad got its first win in the South Central Conference this season with a 6-3 victory over Eddyville-Blakesburg Friday night. Ashlyn Finarty got the win going the distance giving up three runs and striking out six. Emery Neer kept everyone on the bases entertained with two hits, two runs scores and Alex Griggs went 3/4 with a double and RBI. Knoxville is now 2-1 and 1-0 in conference play. The Panthers are scheduled to head to Centerville for two games against Wayne and Central Lee.
