The Melcher Dallas Coal Miners Day is coming up. The annual event will be held Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June 22nd. A bags tournament will kick things off at 6pm in the park that Friday, with other entertainment including food specials, rides and fireworks at dusk. Day two of Coal Miners Day starts out with the Melcher Dallas Fire Department 5k run, followed by breakfast at the shelter house, the parade at 11am, lunch at the Melcher Dallas Fire Department and many other activities throughout the day.
