It is back to the South Central Conference for the Knoxville diamond kids as they travel to Albia tonight. The softball girls have a big game with class 3A seventh ranked Albia. The Panthers are in third place in the South Central Conference at 6-3 while the Lady Dees and Clarke are tied at the top with 7-1 records. A win by the Panthers would thrust them back into the conference race and make it a three team race. Coach Coy Hupfeld tells KRLS Sports while the team has have some mid season adversity, he is confident they can put all that aside knowing they have a big opportunity against Albia. The baseball boys look to win the season series for Albia. The Panthers split with the Demons back on May 31st in a varsity double header.
