The Indianola Homecoming Football game will take place next Friday evening, as the Indians host the Railsplitters of Des Moines Lincoln High School. Part of the week of festivities will include the Homecoming Parade along the downtown Indianola square on Thursday, September 19th beginning at 5:30pm. Indianola residents will also have a chance to donate to The Helping Hand in Indianola during the parade, as the Rotary Club of Indianola will be collecting needed items such as hamburger helper, chili beans, and hearty soups, as well as all personal care items. Collection boxes are located at businesses on the Square: Corner Sundry, Uncommon Grounds, Pageturners, McCurdy Chiropractic, Groggy Dog, Webster Creative, Glass Creations, Clear Path Financials, McCoy True Value, Presbyterian Church, and Studio Fusco.
