The Simpson Storm women’s soccer team earned a home game in the American Rivers Conference tournament Saturday after a 1-0 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan. Both teams went scoreless throughout the first half, but a Baileigh Nagy goal clinched the postseason berth with a game-winner in the 49th minute. The Storm end their regular season with a 10-3-5 overall record and 4-2-2 in conference play, an eight win improvement from last year. The Storm will host Luther at 5 p.m. on Saturday for the start of the American Rivers Conference Tournament.
