The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The board held a discussion regarding the proposed Prairie Ridge Development in Pella. The project would be for the construction of needed workforce housing to be built on the west side of Pella and would include 93 single family homes and 45 townhomes. The single family homes would be priced at approximately $250,000 with the townhomes being priced between $180,000 to $250,000. Following the discussion, the board approved the proposal. The board also gave updates regarding the ongoing negotiations regarding Knoxville’s old VA campus with no new news to report.
