
The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today. The board will discuss and take action as necessary regarding Marion County libraries fiscal year 2020 funding request as well as a Marion County Humane Society contract. They will discuss and take action as necessary regarding the proposed Marion County Courthouse elevator project and county services as well as receive and file the Marion County Treasurer’s semi-annual report. The board will consider a resolution to assign the tax sale certificate for 2020 as well as discuss and take action as necessary regarding the agreement for assignment of the Marion County tax sale certificate. They will consider a resolution regarding the second amendment to the Road and Traffic Agreement with Western Minnesota Municipal Power Agency for the Red Rock Hydroelectric Project as well as consider a resolution regarding the Drainage Easement for surface associated with the reconstruction of the Weiler Drive and Highway 14 intersection. The board will consider setting a public hearing date for February 11th 2020 regarding the proposed Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2020/2021. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held at the Marion County Courthouse.
Following the regular scheduled meeting a special session will be held to discuss and take action as necessary regarding the City and County Local Government Economic Development quarterly meeting. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. and will be held at 3014 E. Main Street in Knoxville.
