The Indianola girls basketball team takes a road trip to Ankeny Centennial tonight, advancing to the second round of regional play after a win against Des Moines East on Wednesday. The Indians are on a five-game winning streak after dropping back-to-back games in early February, and head coach Jeff Janssen tells KNIA Sports his team has peaked at the right time.

“Our girls were engaged the whole game, and they have never stopped playing how we want to play. Even our second group who hasn’t gotten nearly as many reps got in there and did some really nice things offensively and I really like the way we are playing right now, I’m really proud of the girls.”

Action can be heard live tonight on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage begins at 4:45pm, with tip-off scheduled for 5pm.
