With the regular season now complete for the Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad, the Panthers will look to the class 3A district this Monday as the new season. Knoxville will take on Grinnell in Pella as the fourth seed. Coach Jeff Larson tells KRLS Sports while the back half of the season did not go as planned, he is confident that his guys will come out and do everything they can to advance in the district.

Larson:
“We struggled a bit in the end, the last six games. We’re confident even in that losing streak because we were in those games and just didn’t take care of business. We got some confident players, and we beat Grinnell once and we know they’re better and that’s fine, we just have to go out and work hard.”

The Panthers and Tigers met on December 16th with Knoxville winning 70-57 in Grinnell. The game Monday night starts at 6:30pm…you can hear the action on 95.3 KNIA.
