Warren County Conservation held the virtual Osprey 5k Saturday, with participants running on their own instead of the normal event. Karen Johlas-Szalkowski with Warren County Conservation tells KNIA News normally the event would take place beginning at the Annett Nature Center, but this year participants were encouraged to do the run/walk on their treadmills, in their yard, around the block, and then post a photo of them doing so to the Warren County Conservation Facebook page. Johlas-Szalkowski also said the event serves as a significant fundraiser for the Friends of Warren County Conservation.
