The hope is for all summer sports teams in the state that the seasons will be allowed to go on. For the Twin Cedars Softball Squad they have high aspirations for the summer after last season’s 29-9 record that included a Bluegrass Conference championship. However, Coach Zack Dunkin is worried about how the girls are handling the situation as teams cannot get together to workout in the preseason and do their workouts on their own.
Dunkin:
“You’re not going to be able to walk out of 2-3 months of home quarantine and wal right on the field. Just really stress stay home and stay healthy, but get out and put some work outside and keep within the boundaries of the restrictions.
If the season is allowed to continue, the Sabers’ first game would be a home game with Moravia on June second.
