The latest response rates from the U.S. Census Bureau shows Marion County still has a top ten in the state response as a county, with 72.5% of residents submitting their information for the federal population count. Iowa remains 4th in the Nation as it comes to overall self-response rate at 68.6%. The U.S.Census Bureau is sending out both postcard and email reminders to households that have not responded, and those residents should expect those cards to arrive this week. Households that do not respond on their own will soon have census takers begin visiting in person to ask census questions on August 11th.
