Beginning today and continuing throughout the next week, the Marion County Road Department will be applying microsurfacing to several roadways throughout the county. Several roads will be limited to one lane over the course of the next week.
Microsurfacing is a thin layer of protective sealant which fills in cracks and renews the surface of the roadway. Motorists should expect delays in these areas throughout the next week, and use caution in and around maintenance zones.
