A long-time member of the Pella School Board finished his time of service this week.

Gregg Gustafson has been an At-Large Director of the Pella School Board since 2009, and was recognized for his 11 years at this week’s Pella School Board meeting.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says Board President Joan Corbin and Vice President Timothy Tripp have been leading a search for Gustafon’s replacement by appointment, and the individual selected would run in the next school board election in Fall 2021 after finishing the remainder of the current term.

Ebeling says the board intends to have a replacement named by the August 10th meeting.
